PRAYER CONCERNS

·       Prayers of Concern for  Dorothy Scheibner,  Kelly DeWitt (Kim DeWitt's brother),  Shelly Roy,  John Kingsnorth (Nancy Klunzinger’s brother), Sarah Cox, Dorothy Nugent,  Sue Blodgett and Columbia, Ecuador and Venezuela.

God, set us free from all that separates us from you and from each other.  Break through walls, lift burdens and barriers, and let your light shine through us and in us.  Amen.

Prayer taken from the 2010 Mission Yearbook for Prayer and Study.

Exchange Student Needs Home

We have 42 PAX exchange students left to place around the country.  I am committing myself to trying to place one more student.  Here is my student of focus:

ITA008 Giuseppe ITALY M

http://www.pax.org/asp/pax.asp?st_id=15516&p=9847

Please take a moment to view his profile.  Giuseppe is a wonderful boy from the island of Sardinia.  He has a very high English ability.  He is interested in computers, reading, and painting.  He is also active in church.  If you are unable to host or are already hosting, then please pass this on to anyone you know.

Remember host families come in all shapes and sizes; empty nesters, single parents, parents with young children, and parents with teenagers are welcome to host.  The main things you need to provide are a bed, a place to study, meals, and the love and support any teenager would need.

Heidi Zwyghuizen Mission needs

Thank you to all who have made contributions of pencils, erasers and pencil sharpeners.  We are in need of back packs.

I am allotted two suitcases at 50 pounds each.

I will be flying to Costa Rica on September 15th to work and fellowship with some of the people of the churches we support through the 2 coins a meal program.

Those churches will be distributing the items I bring to the children.
