PRAYER CONCERNS

 

·     Prayers of Concern for  Dorothy Scheibner,  Kelly DeWitt (Kim DeWitt's brother),  Shelly Roy,  John Kingsnorth (Nancy Klunzinger’s brother), Cody Weisenberger (Jack and Sallie Weisenberger’s grandson.), Sarah Cox, Dorothy Nugent, Jim Cox and Roy Klopcic.

·     Prayers of Sympathy for the Family and Friends of Dean Adams who died June 20, 2010 at the age of 90. 

Gracious God, thank you for the rivers of your Spirit that flow in and through us.  We ask you to quicken our steps to accompany, our hands to serve, and our hearts to pray.  Amen.

Congregational Meeting

 

On Sunday July 18th at 11:30 am immediately following the worship service there will be a Congregational Meeting for the purpose of electing a Pastoral Nominating Committee (PNC).

 

 

2 Coins a Meal Offering Report

 

The 2 Coins a Meal Offering that was received on June 27th amounted to $212.71.  Thank you so much for your generosity.

VBS Decorating Nights

 

We will be working on decorations for VBS on Wednesday, June 30 and July 7 from 6 - 8:30. Anyone who would like to help is welcome to attend!

 

VBS Registration

 

Anyone who is planning to attend is encouraged to sign up early! This helps us as we plan for the big event on July 12 - 15! Registration forms can be found on the vbs table in the narthex.

2010 CONCERTS

 

Tuesday, June 15, 2010, 7:00 pm, Wright Park, Alma (behind St. Mary’s Catholic Church), to open the Concert in the series.  Stands.

 

Monday, July 12, 2010, 7:00 pm, Wright Avenue Park, downtown Shepherd, as part of the Shepherd Historical Society’s annual Ice Cream Social.  The Maple Leaf Brass will provide pre-concert music, starting at 6:30 pm.  Stands.

 

Monday, August 9, 2010, 7:00 pm, Clare Municipal Airport, as part of the Clare Area Pilot Association’s annual Ice Cream Social.  Stands.

 

Saturday August 28, 2010, 2:00 pm, in front of the Gratiot County Courthouse, downtown Ithaca, as part of Ithaca’s annual FunFest celebration.  Stands.

 

Sunday, November 7, 2010, 3:00 pm, Plachta Auditorium, Central Michigan University, Veteran’s Concert, benefitting the Isabella County Community Cancer Services.  B/W, Stands.
