of Concern for Dorothy Scheibner,
Kelly DeWitt (Kim DeWitt's brother), Shelly Roy, John Kingsnorth (Nancy Klunzinger’s
brother), Cody Weisenberger (Jack and Sallie Weisenberger’s grandson.), Sarah Cox, Dorothy Nugent
and Dean Adams.
Dear God, continue to bless us so that we might be the blessing
you have called us to be. May streams of living water
flow through us into a world thirsty for the water that only Christ can offer.
We pray in his name and for his sake. Amen.
Prayer taken from the 2010
Mission Yearbook for Prayer and Study.

Ronald McDonald House Needs Your Help
First Presbyterian Church is collecting pull-tabs for Ronald
McDonalds House. This is a place where families can stay during the
treatment of cancer and terminally ill loved ones. The pull-tabs are pure
aluminum and they are collected to pay for the meals for these families of the
patients. These pull-tabs can be found on many things besides pop and
beer cans. Cat food, soup cans etc have them. A large pickle jar is
set on the bookshelf in the Witherspoon Room. When we get it full the tabs will
be sent in and we will begin to collect more. Please take the time to do
this small
Service to help these families in their time of
need.
Mentoring Moms Needed
The Department of Human Services of Isabella County is seeking
women to mentor young adults who have aged out of the Foster Care system.
These women will be matched with a young adult and help them develop life
skills and support systems. These women and young adults will form a
lasting bond which can be beneficial: These bonds can be especially
important for the young adults that may have had limited positive relationships
with adults. If you would like to help or are interested in more information,
please contact Chris Ciochetto at the Isabella County
Department of Human Services at (989) 772-8486. If she is not in her
office feel free to leave a message and she will get back to you as soon as
possible.
